It’s that time of year again. Time to shake of those rainy day blues, break out the Lederhosen, and prepare for Squamish’s biggest party of the year.
This year, the event will be returning to its traditional Oktoberfest format, and will be held at Norman Rudy’s Pub on Tantalus Way. (In 2018, the event was called Craftoberfest.) The Rheinland Oompah Band will be performing live, followed by DJ Praiz. Bavarian food will be on the menu, with plenty of local craft beer. Prost!
Dress up in your most German trappings, and prepare to polka and dance the night away. In addition to the silent auction and games, be ready for the annual Best Dressed Award, with a prize for the best dressed woman and man.
The event begins at 8:00 pm, on September 12th, and ends at 1:00 am. This is a Montessori PAC Fundraiser, and $10 from each ticket will go to the school. Tickets are $30 pre-sale, or $40 on the door.
