Get into the holiday spirit this December! The Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association is hosting the Inaugural Squamish Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 6, featuring a family-friendly parade that lights up the streets at dusk.
The parade begins at the Log Sort on Galbraith Ave and winds its way along Vancouver Street and Cleveland Avenue, finishing on Pemberton Avenue. Community members of all traditions—whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Yule, Kwanzaa, or just the joy of the season—are invited to join the festivities. Expect floats, music, and plenty of holiday cheer!
Parade time: 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM
Extra fun: Downtown shops stay open late for holiday shopping, with special promotions, giveaways, and festive surprises.
Make it a full day of holiday magic—stay just minutes from the parade at August Jack Motor Inn. Enjoy cozy accommodations, easy access to downtown, and start your evening of celebration refreshed and ready for fun.
Book your stay today and be part of Squamish’s very first holiday festival!
